Mini bio
How it started.
AJ launched his YouTube channel in 2015. In his JD Sports podcast interview, he talked about moving to London as a child and credited Chunkz with getting him into making videos.
Taking the leap.
AJ and Chunkz worked together before YouTube became their full-time work. In a 2019 Tubefilter interview, AJ recalled leaving his job a couple of months after Chunkz did in 2017 and committing to making videos.
Finding his squad.
In February 2019, Studio71 announced Beta Squad with AJ, Chunkz, Niko Omilana, Sharky and King Kenny. The plan brought the five friends into a London mansion to make content together while continuing their individual channels.
What fans come back for.
His own channel keeps returning to football, food and games with friends, from slip-and-slide tournaments to hide-and-seek in a theme park. Alongside those videos, his agency lists partnerships with Meta and JD Sports and appearances in Match4Hope and the Beta Squad charity match against AMP.
