How it started.

Alejo grew up in Concepción de la Sierra, Misiones. After watching international creators, they asked their parents for a camera, saying it was for photography. At 17, they began posting videos. “Solo se vos mismo”, uploaded on 31 January 2014, introduced a message of being yourself.

Taking the leap.

Alejo studied architecture in Rosario before leaving the course and moving to Buenos Aires to pursue videos. In an interview with Forbes, they recalled teaching themselves design and selling logos and website services online at 13. That early practice became part of a career in making and editing videos.

Finding an audience.

By 2018, Alejo had reached three million followers and appeared in YouMusicaLive at Buenos Aires’ Teatro Ópera. Games with friends, 24-hour challenges and internet unboxings became recurring formats on the channel. In March 2026, YouTube celebrated Alejo passing 100 million subscribers and receiving a Red Diamond creator award.

Meeting fans onstage.

In April 2026, El Show de Alejo Igoa brought the games to Buenos Aires’ Movistar Arena for seven sold-out performances. An international tour announcement followed in September, and October brought news of Rescatando la Navidad, a Christmas show planned for December.
