How it started.
Alexia loved competitive sports in high school and studied communications at Arizona State University. After graduation, she worked in marketing, but kept spending her free time researching fitness. She left that job to become a personal trainer, as she recalled in her first-person Good Morning America feature.
Sharing the workouts.
She began posting workouts for friends and family who could not train with her in person. STRONG Fitness reported that she started turning her personal Instagram into a fitness page in late 2015 and had reached one million followers by August 2017.
Building QUEENTEAM.
Her online program pairs new weekday workouts with home and gym options, meal plans and a community called QUEENTEAM. Variety is central to her approach: she designs fresh routines to help members keep exercise part of everyday life.
Beyond the workouts.
Alexia is also the founder of Astra, a supplement brand. In the brand’s founder introduction, she describes researching ingredients and testing formulas on herself.
