A family connection to clothes.
Alison grew up in a Belgian family of textile cleaners and dyers. In Marie Claire Belgique, they described being the seventh generation and working alongside their father before becoming an influencer. Their mother was a model, and fabrics, textures and fashion magazines were part of childhood.
Finding a way to share.
On a trip to visit their godmother in the United States at 17, Alison discovered image consulting as a profession. As they told ELLE România, social media became a way to share a love of style and turn it into a career. BOVARY dates their Instagram beginnings to 2015.
An audience for everyday style.
Asked about their online growth by Marie Claire Belgique, Alison credited being themselves and staying close to followers who ask for outfit advice. Their references include Jane Birkin, Brigitte Bardot and Françoise Hardy, with comfort an essential part of dressing.

For DeMellier’s ICONS 25 capsule, Alison reimagined The New York Shoulder in Cocoa Croc-Effect leather. The collaboration brought their interest in classic accessories into a limited-edition bag.
