Mini bio
How it started.
Raised in Tulsa, Amber took modelling classes after her mother signed her up. She was scouted for work in Milan and left for Europe at 15.
The breakthrough.
In Paris, she shared an apartment with Shalom Harlow and cut her hair into a pixie. Her first American Vogue cover followed in 1993. She opened Tom Ford’s autumn/winter 1995 Gucci show and appeared in Prada’s 1997 campaign.
On screen.
Amber made her film debut in What Lies Beneath in 2000. Her screen work includes Hitch, Transporter 2, The Spy Next Door, Revenge and Blood & Oil.
Fashion with purpose.
She founded the responsible-fashion platform Master & Muse and co-founded A Squared Films. Her work has included sustainability roles with Karl Lagerfeld, FIT and British Vogue. In 2025 she became a UNEP Goodwill Ambassador.
