Mini bio
How it started.
Anthony trained at La Cambre in Brussels and won the Hyères grand prize in 2006. Two years at Fendi followed, before the launch of a label under their own name in 2009. Kering’s appointment announcement traces this path and the move to Versus Versace’s creative direction in 2015.

The ANDAM Fashion Award arrived in 2011. In 2012, Anja Rubik wore Anthony’s white satin dress with a high, revealing slit to the Met Gala, bringing the label wider attention. In a 2025 W interview, Anthony recalled starting the business in Paris despite warnings after the financial crisis.
A decade of Saint Laurent.
Appointed in 2016, Anthony shaped the house’s women’s and men’s collections for ten years. Saint Laurent announced the departure on October 9, 2026. The work also expanded into cinema: Anthony envisioned Saint Laurent Productions, which debuted with Pedro Almodóvar’s Strange Way of Life at Cannes in 2023.
