Mini bio
How it started.
Belén began Balamoda as a blog and YouTube channel in 2009. Training in journalism, fashion design and marketing, plus earlier work in media, public relations and fashion brands, gave the project its foundations. The initial fashion focus grew into a wider look at everyday life.
From the blog to television and books.
By 2014, Balamoda had become a television project on Nova. Belén described that move as an opportunity created by the blog. The following year, Libros Cúpula published Manual de estilo de Balamoda, a practical guide to combining clothes and building a wardrobe.
Making room for dreams.
Organization became another part of the work. In 2019, Belén put a personal system of 12 planning techniques into ME TO-DO, responding to followers who asked how everyday responsibilities were managed. El Podcast de los Sueños explored personal growth through conversations, reaching its 40th episode in June 2021.
A colorful collaboration.
In 2021, Belén teamed up with Spanish jewelry brand Dime que me quieres on Colección Universo. Stars and color shaped the earrings and necklaces, carrying the playful approach to accessories into a collection of its own.
