YouTube RedHow it started.
Brent grew up in Huntington Beach, California, and was making YouTube videos by age 12. His audience began growing on Vine in 2013, where short, relatable comedy and his “mmhmm” videos became familiar favorites. His sister Lexi appeared in those early clips and remains a regular collaborator.
Beyond the short videos.
He moved into acting as the lead in Alexander IRL in 2017, also earning a producer credit. He later played Gil in Brat’s Brobot and Issac Salcedo in Hulu’s Light as a Feather. In 2020, he joined Jayden Bartels to co-host Nickelodeon’s Group Chat and served as an executive producer.
Building with friends.
Brent and his manager Max Levine co-founded Amp Studios in 2017. The studio develops creators and brings them together through shared videos and collaboration. Brent’s own channel now mixes comedy with challenges and exploration videos; in 2025, he added Levels, a corn and potato chip brand, to his projects.
