Mini bio
How it started.
Brittany launched Thrifts & Threads in December 2013 while working in marketing at an insurance firm. She photographed thrift finds and affordable outfits, building the blog on nights and weekends before making it her full-time work in 2015.
Finding her audience.
A 2015 Bloglovin’ award helped mark her early breakthrough. Her first designer fashion show was Chloé in 2016, after the brand noticed her wearing and tagging a bag she had bought herself. In 2018, she helped design a holiday collection with INSPR, sold through Macy’s.
Learning new formats.
Her daughter Jadyn introduced her to TikTok. Outfit transitions and family videos brought a much larger audience during the pandemic, and she shifted more of her work toward video. In 2026, she wrote about choosing a more personal connection with readers over the pressure to keep going viral.
Life now.
After moving from California to Tennessee in 2025, Brittany began sharing more of the everyday details: growing food, cooking, raising children and making time for faith. Her newsletter, In The Making, sits alongside the fashion and beauty content that first brought people to her work.
