Mini bio
Words came first.
Originally from Alsace, Camille built a life in Paris around writing and images. Early work included beauty writing for My Little Paris and copywriting for Jeanne Damas’s label Rouje. Vintage clothes and drawing were already part of the world Vogue photographed at home in 2019.
An unexpected audience.
Camille told Sud Radio that an article about vintage shops led one shop to invite them for coffee and photographs. When the shop posted and tagged those pictures, new followers arrived overnight. What began spontaneously grew into a career creating fashion and beauty imagery.
Colour becomes a collection.
Yolaine launched in October 2021. Camille credits a painter father with passing on a love of colour, and describes art, cinema, vintage prints and desserts as inspirations for the brand. The Mousse de Rouge was imagined with the airy texture of chocolate mousse.
A novelist, too.
J’aime follows Diane and Lou through a friendship shaped by online admiration, envy and obsession. Camille began developing the novel during a solitary island holiday in July 2021 and returned the next year to finish a first manuscript. Albin Michel published the debut on 2 May 2024.
