How it started.
Born in Congo, Chris moved to Canada at ten and began making YouTube content in 2017. He told CityNews he wanted French-speaking viewers to see someone who reflected his culture. His early focus was helping men dress and groom with confidence.
Finding his format.
One Way traces his signature style-comparison format to 2021: slim versus baggy, old school versus new school. Those visual choices give fans a way to explore their own taste. TikTok selected him as an Innovator on its global 2025 Discover List.
Life beyond the outfit.
Chris gradually added more English-language content to reach a wider audience. By his 2025 CityNews interview, becoming a father was also shaping what he shared. He now brings that interest in self-care to Roma Lure, his beard-care brand with separate blends for fine, straight beards and thick, curly beards.
