Mini bio

How it started.

Chrissy grew up reading fashion magazines and began in the industry as a Harper’s Bazaar fashion intern. After college, showroom and styling jobs led to InStyle.com, where digital publishing clicked for her. She later returned to Bazaar, the magazine she had dreamed of working for.

Finding an audience.

At Harper’s Bazaar, Chrissy became Special Projects Director, led its Instagram presence and hosted Heel Hunters. Her audience grew further in 2020 after she spoke out about racism in fashion. That year, she and Danielle Prescod founded 2BG to help brands address inclusion and anti-racist communication.

Making room for more.

After leaving Bazaar in 2020, Chrissy built an independent career. In 2021 she launched FWD JOY, opening up space for personal essays and interviews about relationships, self-worth and spirituality. She also hosted two seasons of Maybelline’s mental health podcast I’m Fine, You?. Today, her work brings fashion together with the personal conversations readers come back for.
