Mini bio
How it started.
Chungah grew up in a traditional Korean household and studied pre-med at UCLA before pursuing a master’s in public health at USC. In 2011, a classmate introduced her to the idea of food blogging. She opened a Tumblr and began photographing the baking and quick dinners she made at home.
Finding her audience.
Her quick dinner recipes connected with readers, and a graduate-school hobby grew into her full-time business. By 2024, she described working with food stylists, photographers, a video team and an operations manager, testing recipes together before publication.
From screen to kitchen shelf.
Her first cookbook, Damn Delicious: 100 Super Easy, Super Fast Recipes, arrived in September 2016. Damn Delicious Meal Prep followed in February 2019, with 115 recipes and printable planning tools on her site.
What fans come back for.
Damn Delicious focuses on practical dinners with familiar ingredients, minimal preparation and manageable cleanup. Alongside the recipes, Chungah shares her fondness for corgis and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
