Mini bio
From the gym.
Cyrus grew up in Maryland with parents Aurelia Dobre and Boz Mofid, both gymnastics coaches. He became a two-time Maryland all-around state champion before competing for the University of Iowa. His college career included an Academic All-Big Ten honor in 2014.
A family breakout.
His brothers Lucas and Marcus first built an audience with dance and acrobatics on Vine. Cyrus and Darius then became part of the wider Dobre Brothers project. Their family chemistry, comedy and music brought Cyrus to an audience beyond gymnastics.
Finding his own sound.
Cyrus helped shape the Dobre Brothers’ music as a songwriter and by choosing instrumentals. In a 2020 RESPECT. interview, he said he started by writing music for the group. His solo work includes “Goin’ Up” with Tory Lanez and “Bye Bye”, followed by 2025 singles “In The Name” and “Before The Year Ends”.
The Lion Family.
Cyrus also makes videos with Brenda on the Lion Family channel. Their uploads range from family milestones, including their daughter’s first steps, to couples videos and elaborate secret-build premises.
