How it started.

Danielle grew up in Romania and began collecting beauty products at 12, starting with samples and gifts from friends. For their 13th birthday, their father gave them an eyeshadow palette. Vogue Singapore later profiled Danielle as a London-based marketing graduate experimenting with everything from red-carpet looks to neon makeup.

Finding an audience.

Danielle began sharing makeup looks on Instagram in 2019. A lip-liner tutorial became an early breakthrough, reaching more than a million views within 24 hours, according to booking agency MN2S. Dazed and TikTok later featured them in Icons in the Making, highlighting beauty tips, celebrity transformations and TV-inspired tutorials. Their experiments have included a 2021 look highlighting under-eye circles.

In 2023, Danielle’s espresso makeup tutorial put deep brown eyes and smudged liner at the centre of a grunge-inspired look. Their work also extends into commissioned campaigns and editorials: SW Studio credits Danielle as both talent and makeup artist for Lancôme’s Mess Holiday Edition, while Arcadia credits their makeup work in its May 2026 Dior beauty story.
