Samsung TV Plus announced a four-part anthology from Dhar Mann Studios about unexpected caregivers and children. Dhar is the creator and executive producer; the series is scheduled for 2027.

Dhar traces their storytelling to a difficult period around age 30, when they were broke and searching for direction. In their own account, rebuilding through reading, meditation and changes in daily habits gave them a reason to make stories for people facing similar struggles. They started a cosmetics company in 2015 and began creating videos in 2018.
Finding an audience.
Dhar’s autobiographical timeline marks 2020 as the year their videos gained traction and the team expanded. In 2021, they opened a 50,000-square-foot studio in Burbank to build sets in house. The stories grew around familiar conflicts, family tensions and choices, with lessons about how people treat one another.
Beyond the short films.
The studio’s work now includes recurring characters, the Jay & Mikey series, and longer projects. In 2026, Dhar wrote and executive produced Unlikely Romances for Samsung TV Plus and began hosting What Happens Next, an interview podcast. Agreements with Fox and Disney have added new formats and audiences to the studio’s plans.
