Mini bio
Backyard beginnings.
Dude Perfect began in 2009 while the founders were students at Texas A&M. Basketball bets in the backyard turned into filmed trick shots, and their first YouTube upload, now called Backyard Edition, gave them a reason to keep making more.
The shots got bigger.
Early videos took them from a backyard to a ranch, summer camp and the third deck of Kyle Field. By September 2009, their shots had reached national television and several ESPN shows. Their 2023 video took the basketball challenge to The Strat in Las Vegas.
More ways to play.
The five-person group built a wider mix of trick shots, sports battles and comedy. Fans can watch the Overtime variety format, recognize familiar characters in Stereotypes, or see everyday sporting equipment put to unexpected use in All Sports Golf.
Beyond the channel.
Their work now includes live shows, films, the Almost Athletes podcast and books. Operation Trick Shot reimagines the crew as middle-school adventurers, while their October 2026 Disney partnership opens up new collaborations around Disney franchises and events.
