Mini bio
How it started.
Gabriel began the channel with Ricardo Ortiz in 2007. In a 2012 interview, he recalled studying communication and making videos with friends as practice. Sketches and short films gradually developed into themed videoblogs.
The familiar situations.
School, birthdays and dating helped his comedy connect with viewers, he told Etcétera. Pelusa Caligari brought football into that world in 2011. By 2013, he was hosting the first MTV Millennial Awards alongside Karla Souza and winning Digital Icon of the Year.
From sketches to the touchline.
His later work includes the sports podcast Muy fuera de lugar, launched in 2021. He and his brother Álex Montiel, known as El Escorpión Dorado, were announced as co-presidents of Peluche Caligari for the Américas Kings League in 2023.
