Mini bio
How it started.
Growing up in Pittsburgh, Erica was a shy Indian-American child navigating two languages and cultures. Watching body language helped her find ways to connect, and that curiosity became the focus of her work.
From research to books.
As a research fellow at Harvard and MIT, she taught leadership and collaboration before building a speaking business. Her first book, Get Big Things Done, explored connectional intelligence with co-author Saj-nicole Joni. Digital Body Language followed in 2021, helping readers navigate trust and communication through screens.
What she is exploring now.
Her Think Deeper newsletter examines how to protect judgment and original thinking around AI. She says the question became personal after she used an app to generate her son’s bedtime story. That work continues in Use Your Brain, due January 12, 2027.
