How it started.
Gabriella grew up in Niterói, near Rio de Janeiro. At 20, she began working in beauty marketing despite having studied International Relations. She started a Portuguese-language blog to share useful skin and beauty information, then expanded into fashion. She moved to New York in 2015 to pursue a master’s at FIT and began writing in English so her new friends could follow along.
From content to clothing.
Her brand’s story traces her love of fashion to time spent playing with fabric in her parents’ clothing atelier. She became a full-time creator in 2018. In 2020, she began sketching a first collection while her mother helped with production in Brazil. Pandemic logistics delayed the project, and the family resumed their plans in September 2022. KNYT STUDIOS brings her designs together with her parents’ manufacturing experience in Rio.

Her recent YouTube work mixes everyday Paris life with vintage bag sourcing, wardrobe ideas and detailed handbag reviews. Travel vlogs take viewers along on solo visits to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo. In October 2026, she also shared the process of building her vintage bag business.
