Mini bio
How it started.
Before becoming a familiar face online, Garrett worked odd jobs and production-assistant roles in Los Angeles. Their early YouTube work followed drag queen Coco Peru on shopping trips, beginning in 2012.
Finding an audience.
Vine gave Garrett a home for short comedy. Collaborations with Shane Dawson from 2016 to 2018 introduced them to more viewers, before their own paranormal adventures became a central part of the channel.
Making things with friends.
Andrew Siwicki is a recurring collaborator on the overnight investigations. The pair also co-hosted Sweet Boys, a comedy podcast about life and the internet that ran in 2020 and 2021.
Room for everything else.
Garrett describes the main channel as a place for longer adventures and Garrett Unhinged as a home for everything else. Recent uploads range from Japan travel and fan-submitted pets to a haunted-doll makeover.
