How it started.
Before Fun FOOD Frolic, Hina earned an MBA and worked as a financial analyst in investment banking. She turned her interest in food into a career, handling the cooking, styling, photography and voice of her blog herself.
Food that feels familiar.
Her recipes draw on the everyday Indian meals she grew up eating. She also credits travel and marriage into a Sikh family of food lovers with widening her understanding of Indian cooking.
From the blog to books.
Her first cookbook began with an unexpected email from an editor during the pandemic. She initially suspected a scam. The project became The 100 Best Curries for Your Instant Pot, published by Page Street Publishing in 2022. She later added eBooks devoted to salads and vegetarian bowl meals.
