Mini bio

How it started.

Humaira’s connection to singing began in childhood. Recalling her early years on Mazaq Raat, she said she accompanied her mother to PTV and sang “Sada Ho Apne Pyar Ki.” She had not planned a professional singing career, but the song found an audience.

Finding her voice.

Based in Lahore, she built a career in pop, folk and playback singing. She trained with Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, whom she described as an inspiration. Her albums include Choori Kach Di and Gal Sun Dholna, and she has sung for Urdu and Punjabi films.

Songs fans return to.

Coke Studio brought her together with Aima Baig and Rachel Viccaji for “Kaatay Na Katay” in 2017, then Ali Sethi for “Luddi Hai Jamalo” in 2018. In 2022, she revisited her 2002 song “Mein Ni Boldi” with Nish Asher for Tich Button.

Still recording.

Her official channel continues to share music videos, including “Khair Tay Hai” and “Battiyan Lawa Deyo” in 2026. That May, she received the Sitara-e-Imtiaz at a civil awards ceremony in Lahore.
