How it started.

Born in Germany and raised in South Carolina, Jasmine began modeling at 13 after being discovered by Sheilah Dixon of Millie Lewis. A test shoot led to pictures being sent to New York. The Golden Barbie name came from childhood nicknames and brainstorming social handles with a sister.

The runway breakthrough.

After walking Jeremy Scott’s Spring 2015 show, Jasmine reached a new audience through Miu Miu’s Fall 2016 show, a first Paris runway appearance. Work with DKNY, Moschino, Moroccanoil and Pat McGrath followed.

A lasting SI connection.

A 2019 debut shoot in Costa Rica earned SI Swimsuit’s Rookie of the Year title. The next year brought both a solo cover and a shared cover with Kate Bock and Olivia Culpo, photographed by Yu Tsai in Bali. In 2024, Jasmine joined the magazine’s anniversary Legends feature.

Online and beyond.

Alongside modeling, Jasmine shares fashion and beauty content as Golden Barbie. A Vogue tutorial walks fans through a personal makeup routine, while recent SI work includes the 2025 PINKTOBER partnership with Hard Rock and a 2026 shoot in Florida.
