Mini bio

Picking up a camera.

After leaving UCLA Law School in 2005, Jasmine pursued photography with rented gear and a free blog. Writing regularly helped her find an audience and begin selling resources for other photographers.

An early breakthrough.

In 2009, American Photo included Jasmine in its selection of top 10 wedding photographers. Teaching became another way to share what she had learned, including a CreativeLive class that followed a real wedding from preparation to reception.

Building tools and sharing the process.

Jasmine and her husband JD started Social Curator in 2017. The platform now combines marketing education, content creation, and scheduling tools. On The Jasmine Star Show, which began in October 2019, she shares business coaching and conversations with fellow entrepreneurs.
