Mini bio
How it started.
Jemma baked for fun before turning it into a job at Rose Bakery in Mayfair. Crumbs & Doilies began as a small market stall in 2006, expanded into a Wandsworth production bakery in 2008 and opened its Kingly Court shop in 2015.
From bakery to camera.
Jamie Oliver’s team approached Jemma to present recipes for Food Tube. The Cupcake Jemma channel launched in 2013, with Crumbs & Doilies making the content in-house at the bakery, shop and home.
Recipes to keep.
The Cake Book arrived in 2014 as part of Jamie’s Food Tube series. In 2022, the Crumbs & Doilies cookbook gathered more than 90 recipes, including cakes, cupcakes, brownies and cookies. Fans can also find recipe PDFs and extra content through the team’s Bake Club.
