Mini bio

How it started.

Jenny was born in Hong Kong and moved to the United States at six. After studying art direction and design at San Francisco’s Academy of Art University, Jenny took an art director role at a Los Angeles advertising agency.

From work outfits to Tsangtastic.

In 2014, Jenny began a fashion blog alongside a full-time job, sharing outfits, purchases and favourite trends. Posting those work looks on Instagram helped turn a personal project into a career. Jenny told Tatler that photographer Jerry Lai had been part of the process from the beginning, with the pair brainstorming and scouting locations together.

Making the wardrobe, too.

Jenny founded byTsang to bring that approach into womenswear. The Los Angeles label focuses on minimal essentials. In the 2025 Harper’s Bazaar interview, Jenny described the label’s launch as a favourite career memory and emphasised clothes that can be worn repeatedly.

A style that carries through.

Tailoring and softer shapes are recurring parts of Jenny’s outfits. That approach has led to an ELLE Hong Kong Trend cover interview in 2024 and a place on Tatler’s Asia’s Most Stylish Hong Kong list in 2022.
