Mini bio
How they met.
Jesse Burgess and Will Warr met through Candy Kittens. Jesse worked for the sweets brand, and Will took a desk in its office. Travelling together to film promotional pop-ups helped them discover that they enjoyed making videos as a pair.
The first films.
They began TOPJAW in 2015 with a series about London’s best burgers. Jesse became the familiar face in front of the camera, with Will shaping the films behind it. Their food-focused travels grew into the 48 Hours In city guides.
Finding their audience.
In their Q&A with The Standard, they identify their 2019 Paris video as an early breakthrough. Best of London, launched in early 2023, brought another wave of viewers through quick questions about where chefs and other guests actually eat. The series has a simple rule: no self-nominations.
Where it has led.
London remains their home base, while their guides take fans further afield. Alongside TOPJAW, Jesse hosts Apple TV’s Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars, which returned for a second season in September 2026.
