Mini bio
How it started.
Umair Khan makes music as Jokhay in Karachi. His older brothers introduced him to music and brought home a guitar. He grew up listening to rock, metal and hip-hop, with Nirvana, Megadeth and Pantera among his influences.
Songs fans know.
His production helped shape Young Stunners’ Gumaan, whose official video credits him with production, mixing and mastering. He later recalled playing Talha Anjum and Talhah Yunus a beat he had discarded: it became Gumaan. His own 12-track Khana Badosh followed in 2021.
Building his own catalogue.
His releases include Through the Static and 33 Years Later in 2025, then The Basement and the joint Umair album DESIGNERR in 2026. On DESIGNERR, the credits list both producers as artists, producers, mixing engineers and mastering engineers.
