Mini bio
How it started.
Josh’s younger sister Olivia introduced him to Musical.ly by putting him in one of her videos. In his BELLO interview, he described turning that first response into a routine of frequent posts and long livestreams, setting follower goals and meeting other creators.
Finding his audience.
Comedy, lip-syncing and dance videos helped him build a TikTok audience. In January 2020, he helped start Sway House with Bryce Hall and other creators. BFFs later gave him a regular place to talk through internet culture with Dave Portnoy and Brianna LaPaglia.
Making his own shows.
In 2021, Josh and Chris Sawtelle launched CrossCheck Studios. Its first scripted sketch series, Read the Room, arrived online in February 2024, with full episodes on YouTube and shorter clips on TikTok and Instagram. Josh also appeared in Kristoffer Borgli’s Dream Scenario as Hunter.
The next chapter.
After the BFFs farewell, Josh continued developing Read the Room. Fox Creator Studios partnered on seasons two and three in 2026, and the second season premiered that August. His business work also includes being a general partner at Animal Capital.

- Before his creator career, Josh and friend Gavyn Stevenson started Berserk Hockey, making shirts and logos for local hockey teams.
