Mini bio
How it started.
Before Justine Snacks, Justine studied hospitality at Cornell and worked in publicity, including at ABC News and Discovery Networks. In 2020, she started posting her own recipes online. She later told on hand that learning TikTok for her day job gave her a reason to begin making cooking videos.
Finding her food.
A largely self-taught cook, she built her style around seasonal ingredients and recipes that home cooks can repeat and adapt. Two dishes helped more people find her: butter boards, which she adapted from chef Joshua McFadden, and baked kale salad topped with crispy quinoa.
From videos to the bookshelf.
Her debut, Justine Cooks, arrived in October 2024 with 110 recipes, from beans and vegetables to seafood, breads and desserts. It became a New York Times bestseller. She also contributes to NYT Cooking and launched the Supper Club membership on her own website in 2026.
