How it started.
Katherine grew up queer and Jewish in rural New England. Her author-written BookLife profile dates the start of her novel writing to October 2022. In a Goodreads Q&A, she explains that classmates’ simultaneous fascination with and hostility toward queerness helped inspire Queering Him.
From research to readers.
Alongside her writing, she studies bisexual identity, sexual trauma, sexual functioning, and kink as a clinical psychology doctoral candidate. Her public scholarship reaches readers and viewers as @k.w.bogen. Queering Him, her first novel and the opening book of the Avra and Kieran trilogy, arrived in January 2026.
