Mini bio

From the bedroom to YouTube.

Raised in Watford, JJ started the KSIOlajidebt channel in 2009 with FIFA commentary recorded at home. Gaming gave fans the first introduction; comedy, vlogs and the Sidemen widened that world. KSI helped form the group in 2013 and announced a departure in May 2026.

Early releases included “Lamborghini” with P Money and the Keep Up EP. The debut solo album Dissimulation reached Number 2 in the UK in 2020. All Over the Place followed at Number 1 in 2021, with songs including “Holiday”, “Don’t Play” and “Patience”.

Beyond the upload.

Boxing brought a professional win over Logan Paul in 2019; the documentary KSI: In Real Life later opened a window onto the person behind the online career. More recently, KSI became a full-time Britain’s Got Talent judge and a Dagenham & Redbridge shareholder, connecting a long-standing interest in football with new broadcasts for fans.
