How it started.
Lama began a fashion blog in 2012. In an ITP Live interview, they recalled getting more engagement when they shared university designs and outfits, then shifting towards everyday life as a fashion student. Instagram began as a way to promote the blog.
From blog to brand work.
Their first brand collaboration was Cartier’s 2016 Amulette campaign in Dubai. By the 2021 ITP Live interview, Lama said they had progressed from representing TRESemmé in the Middle East to becoming its first global brand ambassador from the region.
What fans follow.
In a 2024 interview with The Luxury Network Magazine, Lama described building travel looks around each destination and sharing outfits, hotels and food. They also highlighted fashion-week access, behind-the-scenes shoots and makeup tutorials as parts of their work.
