Mini bio
How it started.
Larissa grew up in southern Germany and moved to Paris in 2011 to begin modelling, later relocating to New York. Photography gradually became a way to put her own ideas into an image. In a 2017 Harper’s Bazaar interview, she recalled being asked to style an Unconditional story and proposing that the magazine book her as its photographer instead.
Finding her own practice.
Self-taught, Larissa returned to Germany in 2017 and settled in Berlin, where she took and printed photographs. Her agency describes experiments in darkrooms and a visual imagination shaped by childhood landscapes and artwork. Now based in London, she works across editorial photography and advertising, with clients including Valentino, Hermès and Marc Jacobs.
A growing body of work.
The British Fashion Council included Larissa in its 2020 New Wave: Creatives selection. Her work ranges from PinkPantheress’s first Heaven by Marc Jacobs campaign to Vogue cover portraits of Gracie Abrams and Dakota Johnson.
