Mini bio
How it started.
Lauren started a DIY and lifestyle blog in 2011 while feeling creatively stifled at university. Video tutorials gave her a way to explain projects more clearly, and YouTube became the focus. She kept making videos through her degree before moving into content creation full time.
The first breakout.
One early tutorial showed viewers how to cut a skull into the back of a T-shirt. It spread on Tumblr and helped establish her mix of wearable crafts and approachable instruction.
Beyond the craft room.
Her work grew into home decor, makeovers, and retail craft products. In 2020 she brought that experience to HBO Max as host and executive producer of Craftopia. That year she also launched Wild ’Til 9 with Jeremy Lewis, sharing relationship stories and conversations with guests. They released the podcast’s finale in May 2025.
A new creative chapter.
In 2025 Lauren returned to the question of why she makes things in The art of starting over. She also launched Fuzzboy Originals, a dog accessories brand inspired by everyday life with Moose and Diggy. Her current videos continue that hands-on approach through room makeovers and smaller craft projects.
