How it started.
Before the couture shows and travel diaries, Leonie worked as a strategy consultant in Hamburg. The fashion blog Ohh Couture began in 2014. In a Forbes interview, Leonie described wanting to leave corporate life to pursue creativity and independence through running a business.
Finding an audience.
Early encouragement came from people on a resale platform who liked Leonie’s taste and asked for an Instagram handle. During lockdown, filming outfits at home became a turning point. Leonie joined TikTok in 2020 and told the platform that a simple shoe video had prompted interest from both viewers and brands.
From styling to designing.
Leonie’s official biography lists global campaigns for Louis Vuitton and La Mer, alongside work with fashion houses including Fendi and Dior. More recent projects put Leonie on the design side too: an accessories collection with Jennifer Behr in 2025 and a first GUESS capsule in 2026.
