Mini bio

How it started.

Lisa grew up in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania, and moved to New York City to study fashion merchandising at FIT. She worked in the fashion closet at Harper’s Bazaar and as an assistant buyer before turning toward acting and modeling.

Finding her fit.

Fit modeling became a turning point. Her own biography lists work with designers including Khaite, Adam Lippes, Thom Browne and Rebecca Minkoff. A designer encouraged her to share her outfits online, and her blog grew into a business. Earlier readers knew the blog as Mind Body Swag.

From outfits to collections.

Lisa brought her taste for neutral colors and wearable statement pieces to a 2019 capsule collection with Amazon The Drop. A second collaboration followed in 2021, focused on faux leather staples. In 2022 she launched her namesake label with oversized blazers and bralettes.

Life alongside fashion.

Her content also makes room for beauty, travel and family life. On Bella Figura, she discussed motherhood, postpartum experiences and cultural roots alongside fashion. Her son is named Sebastian.
