Mini bio
How it started.
Before The New York Stylist, Liz interned and freelanced at fashion label Chaiken, worked as an advertising art director and assisted stylists on campaigns. Those jobs gave her a route into styling for major retailers.
Finding her audience.
Styling bloggers for T.J.Maxx’s Maxxinista campaigns helped Liz see that she could share her own expertise online. She launched The New York Stylist in 2011, bringing a working stylist’s perspective to everyday outfits.
A closet-first approach.
Requests for wardrobe help from women on social media led to The Closet Refresh®. The service starts with a client’s existing clothes, looking at what to keep, tailor, repair or restyle before identifying gaps. Her commercial work includes campaigns for Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Target and ESPN.
