Mini bio
How it started.
Lolly traces her work back to being a child who kept asking why. In her Join Up Dots interview, she described how that curiosity led her to study psychology and philosophy, then to turn understanding people into a career helping them.
Finding a community.
She founded Lead From Within, a leadership coaching and consulting firm based in New York City. Her writing and weekly Twitter conversations brought those ideas to a wider audience. The Shorty Awards recognized that online work with a Business Influencer finalist place at its sixth annual awards.
The book.
Published by Portfolio in May 2017, The Leadership Gap examines seven leadership archetypes and the blind spots that can accompany their strengths. The book gives readers a way to notice when familiar habits are getting in their way.
What she is exploring now.
Her recent writing brings her coaching perspective to AI adoption. On her website and Substack, she asks how leaders can keep trust, judgment and responsibility at the center of decisions as their teams use new tools.
