Mini bio
How it started.
Lydia was a student in Sheffield when she began Fashion Influx. In a September 2012 interview with La Moda, she said she had started blogging around the previous November because she needed a creative outlet alongside her degree. Blogs and YouTube helped shape her interest in fashion.
Finding her format.
Her high-street styling videos became the heart of Fashion Influx. The introduction to her 2023 interview on Working Hard with Grace Beverley describes how those recognisable videos built her audience, alongside lookbooks, shopping hauls and beauty tips.
Style alongside real life.
Her posts now make room for life as a mum of two. Recent videos mix postpartum dressing, autumn try-ons and heatless curls with candid updates about family life and taking a baby to a shoot.
