Mini bio
How it started.
Marco grew up in Marche, where clothing and shoemaking gave him a close view of Italian craft. At 19, he began working in a clothing and accessories showroom. After four years, he moved into digital communication to spend more time with the makers and products that matched his own taste.
From street style to storytelling.
Photographers began noticing his clothes at trade fairs including White and Pitti. In 2013, encouraged by a designer he had worked with, he launched his profile and blog. Simply Mr. T became a place to share outfits and report from inside artisan businesses.
Behind the finished piece.
His own reports take readers inside places such as the Vitale Barberis Canonico mill in Pratrivero and Jaeger-LeCoultre’s manufacture in Le Sentier. Alongside those stories, he designed the Urban Safari jacket with Virum and Lanificio Cerruti, then returned to the partnership for the winter Oxigen collection.
A personal wardrobe.
For Marco, classic dressing reaches back to watching his father tie a tie and leave home in a coat. In his Thomas Mason interview, he describes his style as neoclassical and talks about combining English fabrics with Italian wearability.
