How it started.
After getting married in 2017, Marijka began taking Instagram seriously. Inspired by Western outfits seen online, they bought clothes, photographed looks on a phone and started working with small boutiques in exchange for products. Paid shoots followed, first to cover photography costs and then as a full-time business. (Source: Voyage Utah interview.)
Finding a style.
Marijka built a following around modest Western dressing, styling videos and get-ready-with-me posts. In their 2023 Voyage Utah interview, they described photographing most of their own content, using a tripod or help from friends and their husband, and sharing home decor, recipes and learning to ride horses.
From styling to collaborations.
On Western Life & Style Trailblazers in May 2023, Marijka discussed turning a side business into full-time work and how TikTok helped their audience grow.
