Mini bio
How it started.
Mark was born in Scotland and developed an interest in photography while studying art and film on England’s south coast. He began by photographing people around him, both in everyday situations and in scenes he arranged.
Early editorial work.
By January 2012, his work appeared in Dansk’s tenth-anniversary issue: he photographed Mathias Lauridsen with styling by Toby Grimditch. That is an early documented credit in a career that now spans magazine stories and fashion campaigns.

Art Partner describes his practice as an exploration of identity and the relationship between photographer and sitter. His fashion and portrait work feed into each other. Regular collaborators include stylists Suzanne Koller, Jane How and Robbie Spencer; clients include Saint Laurent, The Row and Prada.
