Mini bio
How it started.
Raised in Lahore, Taimoor first pursued computer science at Simon Fraser University in Canada before turning to filmmaking at Full Sail University in Florida. He returned to Pakistan and released his first single, Patakhi Larki, in 2011.
Finding his audience.
Songs including Tere Bina, Tasveer, and his Faris Shafi collaboration Awaam helped establish his music. Alongside his own releases, he built a production career through Aflatoon Studios, making videos for other artists and commercials.
Music and characters.
Pehli arrived on Patari in November 2016, with nine new tracks and collaborators including Shamoon Ismail and Sunny Khan Durrani. His comedy and character work also reached television: Paristan marked his TV debut in 2022 opposite Mira Sethi.
A wider canvas.
In 2024, he co-wrote and performed Shor with Talha Anjum, released songs from his EP Avara, and voiced Vincent Oliver in the Urdu version of The Glassworker. His recent YouTube films turn the camera toward cities, the environment, and international affairs.
