Mini bio
How it started.
Nava grew up in Orange County with a creative mother who worked in interior design. They brought an interest in sewing and thrifted clothes to YouTube, sharing ways to alter pieces that did not fit.
Finding an audience.
Their first TikTok arrived in August 2019. Outfit transitions and unexpected DIY materials helped them find an audience, including a two-piece outfit made from a fake Louis Vuitton bag.
A different fashion habit.
In 2023, Nava partnered with thredUP on The Dump Fast Fashion Shop, styling three secondhand looks and encouraging fans to rethink fast-fashion purchases. Their sustainability work later brought them to the White House, as reported by ABC News in May 2024.
What comes next.
Their work now includes custom red-carpet clothing and Nanaii, a label in development. In October 2026, Nava told Cero that the first collection would use deadstock material and focus on pieces that can be worn in different ways.
