Mini bio
How it started.
Born and raised in Montenegro, Nemanja moved to the United States in 2015. In April 2020, he opened Kale My Name in Chicago, beginning with takeout and delivery during the pandemic. The restaurant became the foundation for a wider creative life built around vegan food and compassion for animals.
From restaurant to screen.
His work grew into television, interviews and social media. He became a judge and mentor on The Blox in 2023, then launched Extraordinary with Neman in 2024. That May, Kale Krew debuted with Nemanja and Tamika Price exploring Chicago’s vegan restaurants. Its second season took the format on the road, followed by a Bali adventure in 2026.
What fans find.
On @kalemyname, Nemanja mixes comedy with vegan food, travel and advocacy. His longer conversations give guests room to share their personal stories. Collaborations with Joanne Molinaro and Tabitha Brown connect his restaurant world with the shows and creators fans see alongside him.
