Mini bio

How it started.

Oliver grew up making films on a handycam and spending long days at the cinema. In a 2015 interview with shots, Oliver explained that still photography offered an easier way to capture the light and cinematic feeling they wanted. Learning to build a picture around a character helped shape the films that followed.

The Jungle connection.

Jungle’s Josh Lloyd-Watson was a best friend and fellow pizza-restaurant worker. A friend from a production company helped them find a camera and crew for Platoon, their 2013 video featuring B-Girl Terra. That collaboration grew into a run of dance-led videos including The Heat, Busy Earnin’, Time and Julia.

People in motion.

Fashion photography and filmmaking now run alongside one another in Oliver’s work. Art Partner’s portfolio includes editorial work for i-D, The Gentlewoman, British Vogue and M Le Monde, plus campaigns for Prada, Chanel, Hermès and Louis Vuitton. Across those different settings, character and the energy of the person in front of the camera remain central.
