Mini bio
Early days.
Olivia’s fashion story began in New York. While interning at Quest magazine, she was photographed at events by Patrick McMullan. A wider audience met her on MTV’s The City, which followed young women working in the city’s fashion industry from 2008 to 2010.
Making a space of her own.
In 2011, she launched OliviaPalermo.com to share fashion, beauty and lifestyle stories. It gave her personal style an editorial home, with a team of writers and an interest in bringing emerging designers to readers.
From styling to designing.
Her collaborations turned that eye for an outfit into pieces fans could wear. She developed Olivia Palermo + Chelsea28 with Nordstrom in 2016, then debuted a Banana Republic capsule at New York Fashion Week in 2017. Olivia Palermo Beauty followed in 2021, bringing her approach to wardrobe essentials into makeup.
The next room.
More recently, her interests have extended into interiors. In 2026, Perigold unveiled a partnership centered on furnishing her new apartment, with Olivia choosing pieces through its platform and working with its design service.
