Mini bio
How it started.
A friend’s gift of Gothic&Lolita Bible introduced RinRin to lolita fashion. An early Angelic Pretty runway opportunity in Los Angeles, wearing a sparkling pink dress, helped the style click. After college, studying abroad brought RinRin to Japan.
Finding a place in Harajuku.
RinRin began modeling for Angelic Pretty in 2009. Catalog work and Harajuku street snaps led to reader-model appearances in KERA! and Gothic&Lolita Bible. Modeling for the magazine that first inspired them became a personal milestone.
Sharing the culture.
As print magazines changed, RinRin began making more independent social content. Beauty and fashion videos and hosting NHK’s Kawaii International brought Japanese subculture fashion to international audiences. In 2023, RinRin formed a music unit with Bonjour Suzuki, extending that interest into fantasy lolita pop.
